Caspar-Maria Russo

was born in Eddelsen in 1994 and grew up in Hamburg. He studied German and comparative literature in Freiburg and Vienna. Russo narrates audiobooks, and in 2017 he was invited to the youth theatre competition Theatertreffen der Jugend with his production of Das bin ich nicht. Since 2021 his works for theatre have been published by S. Fischer Verlag, in 2022 he won the exil literaturpreis, and in 2023 his work draußen ist wetter was nominated for the Author Prize of the Heidelberger Stückemarkt. He has received numerous grants, including the BMKÖS Playwright Grant and Project Grant. More or Less is his debut novel. Caspar-Maria Russo lives in Vienna.
