was born 1966 in Vienna and studied Political Science in Vienna, Berlin and Peking. She worked at the foreign desk of the daily newspaper Kurier from 1990-1995 and as an editor for the weekly magazine profil from 1995-2007. She has received numerous awards for her journalistic work. Currently, she is a columnist for the daily newspaper Die Presse, author for the weekly magazine Der Falter, editor-in-chief for the human rights magazine Liga. Zeitschrift für Menschrechte, teacher for journalism at FHWien University of Applied Sciences, author of several books, speaker and presenter.
